Persona 4 golden voice actors10/4/2023 ![]() These do not bode well in how they handle the pacing and development. The anime wants to solely focus on the new one, named Marie, and find out the mystery of who she is and why she is there. Still, Persona 4 the Golden Animation is nothing more than just decent fan service for fans to see, even with the inevitable cringe-worthy attempts to adapt it fully.įor those who aren’t aware of the concept of Persona 4 Golden, it is another version of the original game with a different side character that we get to know throughout her own story. After much popular demand by absolutely no one, Aniplex thought to themselves, “Remember that Persona 4 anime we made a couple of years ago? Why don’t we make another one for the port to cash in on the hype for Persona?” Atlus probably had a hand in the decision too. Its different mechanics and new fantastic scenes also brought a new character, which breathed all new life into it. favorite game is Persona 4 and will cherish it till the day I die, I’ve also adored its Vita port, Persona 4 Golden. It would be of no surprise to anyone that it was a thing that, in the end, would be looked at as a project that could not be called anything but unnecessary. However, the event that started the whole milking process began with announcing an entire adaptation of Persona 4 in anime form back in 2011. That is not a negative connotation, as the spin-off games and the Vita port are excellent in their own right. What began as a triumphant success, both critically and commercially, in the gaming culture, even outside the JRPG community, has now devolved into whoring itself out. For Persona fans, I don't really think you all enjoy this adaptation anyway. I recommend you guys maybe don't watch this shit., it can make your eye close or cry. Well, just because it's an alternative setting, that doesn't mean it doesn't important. The problem is the rest of the party, they just waiting for turns to talk, just like cycles. ![]() Yu in Golden is more charismatic and courageous person. The art in P4Golden is a bit brighter and simple than the original story (talk about junk), the songs are quite matching with the series.Īnd now for the character section, our protagonist Yu Narukami clearly have different personalities than the original story. ![]() So, the story is clearly have been rushed in 12 episode., basically, the original story is almost gone from the entire series, because they just retell the events that not included in the original story (pointless events indeed) 12 episode, while the original Persona 4 The Animation have 2x more episode than Golden. Well, I don't care if it's alternative or not, I just want to watch some good stuff. The story retells the original story with a new character or should I say, this is an alternative setting. The Story, ummm.i can't say much because there not so much to talk about. If Erin Fitzgerald (who’s been rumored as her replacement) can pull of the same bubbly, vivacious rendition, I’ll be happy.I'm a Persona fans, a huge fan of it! But, I have to say one word for P4 The Golden, "DISAPPOINTING!!!"Īctually, I don't want to throw my precious time to write a bad review, but this 'anime' is forced me to do so. For my part I especially loved Tracey Rooney’s portrayal of Chie in the original. Given the relatively early stage of proceedings it’s about the best one can expect. We’re confident in the quality of the final English dub and ask fans to reserve judgment until they can see-or in this case, hear-how each character has been brought to life within the game’s full context.Īny changes for Persona 4 Arena with regards to the voice cast do not necessarily indicate changes for Persona 4 Golden. In a couple cases, however-including Teddie, as noticed by fans-and despite our best efforts, circumstances mandated that changes be made. Every effort was made to retain the fantastic talents of the Persona 3 and Persona 4 voice casts, who were responsible for making those roleplaying games so memorable. “Persona 4 Arena, being a fighting game with one of the most substantial story modes the genre has yet seen, represents one of the most ambitious recording projects in ATLUS history. We talked to Atlus PR czar Aram Jabbari, and he had this to say: Naturally, one might be led to wonder if the new faces (larynxes?) would carry over to Golden, especially given that the game promises “1.5x more voiced dialog” than the PS2 original. Perceptive fans noticed changes to the cast, in English trailers for Persona 4 Arena, the PS3/360-bound 2D fighter. However, for some, that excitement is tempered by worry over voice-acting. Quite a few folks are excited about Persona 4: Golden.
